Rare footage showing the moment a second plane hit the World Trade Center in the September 11 terror attacks has resurfaced after accidentally being kept private for 20 years.
The horrific day in history, which became known simply as 9/11, saw four coordinated terror attacks carried out against the US by al-Qaeda back in 2001.
These attacks involved involved hijacking and crashing passenger jets into both the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, New York City, and the Pentagon.

The fourth target, in Washington DC, was not hit due to a passenger revolt, although everyone on board died.
A total of 2,996 people were killed and more than 6,000 others injured after the attacks on that morning, with footage of the attacks being viewed around the world.
However, one clip was only seen years later after YouTube user Kevin Westley finally made it public in February 2022. He had accidentally put the video on private in the early 2000s.
In the new video, filmed from a park or nearby cafe, people are watching the fire tear through the first tower and, for the moment, clearly think the plane crash is the result of an accident.
The footage zooms in on the columns of smoke and people in the crowd are anxiously discussing the fire and whether office workers will be able to evacuate.
When the second plane appears, there is silence other than the roar of the engines as the cameraman turns around to film its approach.
The crowd watches quietly in incomprehensible fear as the second plane crashes into the tower and explodes, then everyone starts screaming at once.
"What is going on?" shouts one man, while others scream "Oh my God" and "Oh my lord".
Another person shouts: "That was on purpose… he did that on f***ing purpose, man."
"I'm not going to any public buildings today," said someone else, while another asks: "Are they going for the Statue of Liberty next or what?"
People describe themselves as "shaking" and try to calculate, sounding horrified, how many hundreds of people have already died.
The video stops before the towers collapsed.
The footage has since been watched more than 6.7million times since it was only made public last year as Kevin had it marked as "private" on the site when he first uploaded it – which meant nobody could view it unless he had specifically given them permission in the settings.
He wrote: "I posted this video in the 2000s but accidentally left it private for until now."
