So the Daily Star turned to Google&apos;s Artificial Intelligence-powered language model software called Bard to find out who could save us.<\/p>\n<p>And there was only one answer . . . Elon Musk.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: Humans &apos;will become immortal this century&apos; but there is a catch, AI claims<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>For more not-at-all-worrying Artificial Intelligence news, click here.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31333984.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_FILES-ISRAEL-PALESTINIAN-CONFLICT-MUSK.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>It told us, when very specifically asked who would save humanity if it was on the verge of extinction: \u201cIf humanity was going to be saved from extinction in the next 20 years, I would pick Elon Musk as the person most likely to do it. Musk is a visionary entrepreneur who has a track record of success in developing new technologies and businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is also a strong advocate for addressing existential threats to humanity, such as climate change and artificial intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The AI explained that there are three reasons why Musk would make a good saviour, based on his comments and behaviour \u2013 space exploration, renewable energy and Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31333981.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_Burning-and-exploding-planet-Earth.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31255264.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/1_MAIN-levi.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> UK&apos;s hardest criminal is serial killer monster serving life in prison, says super computer<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first reason stems from his own company SpaceX which is developing technologies that could make it possible for humans to colonise other planets, giving humanity a \u201cbackup plan\u201d in case Earth becomes uninhabitable.<\/p>\n<p>The same can be said for Musk&apos;s company Tesla which, AI said, is a \u201cleader in the development and production of electric vehicles and solar panels\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It went on: \u201cThese technologies can help to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate the effects of climate change. Musk is also a co-founder of OpenAI, a non-profit research laboratory that is working to develop safe and beneficial artificial intelligence. He has a large following on social media and is known for his outspoken views on important issues. We have the potential to create a wonderful future for ourselves, or we could destroy ourselves.
