Denver police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.<\/p>\n
About 8 a.m. on Aug. 16, an assault happened in the 1900 block of Arapahoe Street, according to the Denver Police Department. The same man is suspected of unlawful sexual contact at 12:15 p.m. July 29 in the 2200 block of Downing Street.<\/p>\n
Police describe the suspect as a Black man, about 6′ 2″ tall with an “extremely” heavy build. He wears glasses and is possibly named Michael. The suspect frequents a downtown 7-Eleven store in the 1700 block of Champa Street and he frequently walks in the area.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information on the suspect or who recognizes the man in photographs released by police is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP).<\/p>\n
