A jilted lover who beat a bloke to death after catching him having sex with his partner in a kid's playground after a boozy session has been jailed.
Kyle Morley, 30, had been out drinking with his friend David Bettison and two other men in the pubs around the usually quiet village of Hugglescote in Leicestershire on February 24 this year.
At about midnight, Morley's ex-girlfriend, Katie Lamb, arrived in the village and two hours later, Morley, then 29, found her and Bettison in a steamy tryst together in a children's play area.

Morley, who has tattoos on his face, charged at them and punched 23-year-old Miss Lamb hard in the face, knocking her out, for which he would later plead guilty to assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. He then attacked his 43-year-old friend, who made no attempts to fight back at the time.
Morley repeatedly punched, kicked and stamped on Bettison, causing facial injuries so severe the police who later arrived were unable to even try to save his life with normal treatment. Bettison was unable to breathe due to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
After he was arrested, Morley gave Leicestershire Police a prepared statement in which he said he accepted assaulting Bettison but denied intending to cause him serious injury.
He added in his statement that he was "heavily intoxicated" and had been taking class A drugs.

He was yesterday (Tuesday 14 November) convicted of murder following a trial at Leicester Crown Court. He will serve a minimum term of 18 years and six months.
His arrest followed a call to police after a neighbour to the park was woken by the sound of a woman in distress.
Officers responded and discovered Morley standing over the 23-year-old woman and Mr Bettison unresponsive nearby – both had significant facial injuries.
During the investigation officers also recovered a voicemail left accidentally by Morley at 1.52am while carrying out the attack.
