The Princess Royal has been crowned the hardest working member of the British royal family this summer, based on her public engagements this July.
Princess Anne's calendar is more than double that of her nearest royal in terms of appointments, with the rest, including the heirs to the throne and their spouses, taking a long break this summer.
The hardworking royal was recently dubbed as having all the qualities capable of being given the 'top job' of the Queen as she has a 'much better reputation than Prince Charles ', according to a royal expert.

Analysis of all the events that the Windsors have planned for July revealed that the Princess Royal will be paying 36 visits in July, which averages to more than one visit per day, according to AskGamblers.
Her busy month kicks off this Friday in Dover, Kent, where she will attend The Duke of York’s Royal Military School for the Grand Day parade.
The rest of her month's schedule is packed with events, often three in one day at various locations.
On July 29, she will end her month long marathon in Warwickshire by attending the Game Fair at Ragley Hall in Alcester.
However, with 24 combined visits next month, the most hardworking royal couple are the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
The two will have joint visits twice in July: once on the 6th for the Platinum Jubilee concert at St Albans Cathedral, and again on the 29th, at the Annual Treasurer’s Reception in London.
Separately, Prince Richard has 13 public engagements next month, whereas the Duchess of Gloucester has nine.
The Earl of Wessex is the fourth most hardworking royal, with nine visits planned for July, starting with a trip to Edinburgh on Friday.
The fifth most hardworking member of the British royal family is the Queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra, with five official engagements in July.
None of the other royals have any events announced for the whole of July.

“The Princess Royal has a reputation for being exceptionally hard working and summertime is no exception," said a spokesperson for AskGamblers.com, who conducted the analysis.
"Her Royal Highness’ busy calendar sees her working 21 days throughout the whole of July, the same as any a full-time employee in the UK.
“We know that the Queen likes spending time at Balmoral Castle in August, so we do wonder what Her Majesty, Prince Charles, Prince William and their families are up to in the meantime.”
