Prince Harry voted ‘world’s sexiest royal’ as he beats William to top spot

Prince Harry has landed the coveted title of "world's sexiest royal".

Voted for by the readers of People Magazine, the Duke of Sussex beat the likes of Prince Carl Phillip of Sweden, 41, Prince Felix of Luxembourg, 36, Prince Mateen of Brunei, 29, and even his own brother Prince William.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to Santa Barbara earlier this year and purchased a $14 million (£10.8m) luxury property after stepping back from royal duties.

The couple announced in January this year that they would step back from senior positions in the Royal Family following talks at Sandringham between Harry, Prince Charles, Prince William and the Queen.

Meghan and Harry have since relocated with their son Archie Harrison to California, having spent the intervening period living in Canada, in hopes of a more private lifestyle.

Despite stepping back from his royal duties, People Magazine readers still think Harry is the world's sexiest royal.

Prince Carl Philip is fourth in line to the Swedish throne and married to model Sofia Hellqvist, with whom he shares two children, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel.

Prince Felix of Luxembourg is second in line for the throne of Luxembourg. He speaks seven languages and is married to German scientist Claire Lademacher. The couple have two children, Princess Amalia and Prince Liam.

Prince Mateen of Brunei regularly posts photos showing off his muscular physique to his 2.3m followers on Instagram.

He is the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei by his former second wife, Puan Hajah Mariam binti Haji Abdul Aziz, who is half Bruneian, a quarter Japanese and a quarter English.

It comes days after People Magazine dubbed actor Michael B Jordan the "sexiest man alive", a title that was last bestowed in November 2019 to singer John Legend, 41.

Michael is best known for his critically-acclaimed performances in Fruitvale Station, Creed and Black Panther.

“It's a cool feeling,” Jordan said of the title. “You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.' But it’s a good club to be a part of.”

Other recent winners include: Dwayne Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Adam Levine, Ryan Reynolds and David Beckham.
