A bizarre poem left on the headstone of dead Russian Wagner mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin has been revealed . . . and it adds fuel to the fire that he's still alive.
Prigozhin, formerly known as "Putin's chef", was one of 10 people killed when his Embraer Legacy 600 plane plummeted to the ground on a flight between St Petersburg and Moscow last week.
Rumours of an explosion on board have since followed, with the 62-year-old's death now formally confirmed following genetic testing of the fireball plane crash, and an investigation into the crash is also underway.

However, despite the confirmation, many conspiracy theorists and Russian “experts” claim he's actually still alive, and living in an “undisclosed country” somewhere.
And now, images from his closed funeral – allegedly organised by Prigozhin's mother Violetta – show armed guards, sniffer dogs and the appearance of a strange poem framed and placed on the headstone.
According to Kremlin-backed Russian media outlet Moskovskij Komsomolets and Telegram channels Rotunda and VChK-OGPU, a framed poem spotted during the funeral on the headstone, which was attended by wife Lyubov Prigozhina, reads: “How do I step on the threshold, not understanding, not deciding.
“Are you my son or God?

Funeral for Prigozhin held 'behind closed doors' as rumours spread he's still alive
“That is, dead or alive?”
The line is from a poem written by Russian/Soviet Union poet Joseph Brodsky called Still Life.
A hearse was seen being driven around St Petersburg on its way to the Porokhovskoye Cemetery earlier in the day, and Rotunda claims that the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs did not know where the funeral was taking place.

The final line of the poem adds to intrigue to comments made yesterday by Russian expert Valery Solovey, who said of the crash: “Prigozhin himself was not on board.
“His double was flying instead of him – Vladimir Putin is perfectly aware of that.
“If you….believe official statements of the Russian authorities, then what can I say…?”
