Meghan Markle's half-sister has slammed the Duchess of Sussex for her extraordinary Oprah Winfrey interview.
Samantha Markle accused Meghan of "treating people like dishrags".
Meghan and husband Prince Harry sat down with Oprah in an astonishing interview that was aired on Sunday, March 7 on CBS and Monday (March 8) on ITV in the UK.
In it, the Duchess revealed that royal life had left her feeling suicidal and claimed she had been denied help.
She also claimed she "doesn't know" Samantha and was raised "an only child".
When asked about Samantha's book, Meghan told Oprah: "I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don't know me."
It follows her fallout with dad, Thomas Markle, who she no longer speaks to.
But Samantha hit back, telling InsideEdition: "I don't know how she can say I don't know her and she was an only child.
"We've got photographs over a lifespan of us together. So how can she not know me?"
She added: "Depression is not an excuse for treating people like dishrags and disposing of them."
Meghan Markle's chat ‘like Diana getting revenge on royal family from beyond grave’
The interview has sparked a seismic royal crisis after the Duke and Duchess fired numerous allegations at the royal family.
Meghan claimed Kate Middleton had reduced her to tears, and that she later apologised for it.
She also said conversations had taken place during which "concerns" were raised over how dark Archie's skin colour would be.
Harry said dad Prince Charles had "stopped taking his calls" and said he felt "really let down" by the Prince of Wales.
According to reports this week, Charles is said to have been left in a "state of despair" over his son's interview.
Royal author Sarah Gristwood added: “For Prince Harry to say that he felt let down by his father must have been a difficult thing to say and hard for Charles to hear.
"Now, just at a time when by and large Charles had started to look like a more popular King than one would have guessed, here’s a major blow to his reputation.
"That his son felt let down by him. It’s hard to know if Harry is aware of the damage this has done. Did he actually intend to cast this damaging light on his father and his family? We don’t know.”
