Lilibet and Archie would have resented being left out of Jubilee, expert says

Lilibet and Archie would have been “resentful” when they grew up if they had been left out of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a royal commentator has claimed.

While Archie was born in the UK and received a royal christening, his sister Lilibet had never visited her father’s home until she arrived on British soil with her parents yesterday (June 1).

The infant turns one this weekend (June 4) and is expected to meet the Queen for the first time.

And, speaking during the Trooping the Colour parade this morning on GB News, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield emphasised the importance of Lilibet on Archie’s appearance at the royal occasion.

“Don’t you think that if you were Lili or Archie, you would be resentful if you didn’t get to participate in something like this?" she suggested.

“How great that they are a part of history now, that’s incredible.”

And, while Kinsey accepted that Harry and Meghan’s egos might be slightly “bruised” by being excluded from the royal balcony, she suggested that it didn’t amount to a significant snub.

“The reality is that they’re very protective so I don’t think that they’ll miss being on the balcony later today," she observed.

“I think we’re going to see Prince William and we’re going to see Prince George and Prince Charles. The Queen’s theme is looking forward to the future and so that is really exciting to have the presence of those men on there.”

Presenter Isabel Webster also suggested that the presence of the Sussexes’ children could help to thaw the tensions between the Royal Family and the Sussexes.

“I think if we do get a glimpse of Lilibet and Archie it melts people’s hearts,” she suggested.

“I think there’s a mood of forgiveness, there’s a mood of positivity, and maybe just maybe, some relations could thaw within the Royal Family. The magic of the Jubilee might just heal some rifts.”

This comes as William and Kate’s children made headlines of their own during the Trooping the Colour parade, when Charlotte was spotted playfully slapping down her younger brother Louis’ frantic waving.
