Prince Harry was reportedly branded “that fool” by his father King Charles after he attacked the Royal Family in his Netflix documentary.

The King’s reaction to his son’s bombshell series is revealed in a new book, leaked to the The Sun on Sunday. Endgame focuses on Harry's decision to shed light on family rows among the royals.

Comments in the book from its author and pal of the duke, Omid Scobie, read: "At the Palace, heads were in hands and migraines were brewing." An aide quoted as saying: "(The show) took the wind out of everyone’s sails… (He) went from not wanting anyone to talk about his son to openly criticizing ‘that fool.’"

The comments were made in relation to the documentary released as part of Harry and Meghan Markle ’s $100 million deal with the streaming giant.

Elsewhere in the new book it is claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton found the South Park episode mocking the Sussexes very funny. The episode dubbed The Worldwide Privacy Tour, was reportedly found “hilarious” by the future king and queen.

Endgame also apparently makes claims about the pampered lifestyle of the King, who is said to demand his shoelaces are ironed and his 1,000 thread count bedsheets perfectly steamed. The book claims: “When laces get even the smallest bit threadbare, a staff member must quickly switch them out with a fresh, ironed pair.

“There is even a rumour (one that, surprisingly, sources have confirmed) that Charles likes to have someone squeeze exactly one inch of toothpaste on to his toothbrush for him ahead of his bedtime routine.”

The book says Prince William and King Charles were destined to clash – a claim Author Phil Dampier has since thrown out as “rubbish”. “They’ve grown incredibly close and there is no way in which William would do anything to undermine him,” he said.
