Kate Middleton shares moving chat with Holocaust survivors in Insta post

Kate Middleton's husband Prince William was the subject of a cheeky joke when a video was released showing her meet with two Holocaust survivors on Wednesday (January 27).

The Duchess of Cambridge was talking with Zigi Shipper, 91, and Manfred Goldberg, 90, who met as children inside a concentration camp in 1944 and are sharing their story for Holocaust Memorial Day.

Zigi and Manfred have both met the Duchess and Prince William before, and Zigi had a cheeky joke at his expense when he wasn't there.

In the clip, Zigi says: "I was so happy, you know.

"I didn’t need your husband, you were the one that I wanted."

Laughing, Kate retorts: "Zigi, I’ll tell him you miss him very much and he sends his regards as well, obviously."

The footage was uploaded on the Kensington Royal Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon and has already been watched more than 1million times, with many people appreciating the sly joke.

"Zigi is a mood," commented one fan.

A second quipped: "I have to agree with Zigi."

"A connection long remembered as a bright spot in their days!"

Kate and William have recently welcomed a new puppy into their home after their dog Lupo died in November last year, devastating their children George, Charlotte, and Louis.

A friend told the Mail on Sunday: "The new puppy is adorable and the whole family is besotted.

"They were devastated when Lupo passed away, as any dog owner will understand, but got the new puppy before he died.

"It was hoped that a younger dog would give Lupo some company and give him a little more life and energy."

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed Princess Charlotte has learned how to dance from her mum and takes after her with the ability.
