The wealthy socialite accused of shooting dead a police officer in Belize has been moved to a notorious hellhole prison.
Jasmine Hartin, 32, is accused of killing Superintendent Henry Jemmott, 42, in the Central American country.
The dad-of-five was reportedly shot behind the ear with his own gun.
His body was found in the sea off a pier in San Pedro, on the island of Ambergris Caye.
Canadian Hartin has been charged with manslaughter by negligence and was taken into custody last Friday (May 28).
She was refused bail and was being held in a tiny cell in the stiflingly hot San Pedro’s magistrate’s court complex.
But she has now been transferred to the country’s infamous Central Prison after being denied bail, according to the Times.
The scorpion-infested jail, in Hattieville, featured on the Netflix series Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons.
Remand inmates awaiting trial are held there with dangerous prisoners, as it is the country’s only jail.
Back in September 2019, nearly all the lags at the facility – 98% – were men.

There are currently 1,041 inmates in the facility – known as the Hattieville Ramada – who are held in small concrete cell blocks.
The jail has been criticised for overcrowding and having inhumane conditions.

And prison chiefs say Hartin, the director of lifestyle and experience for her husband Andrew Ashcroft’s luxury Alaia resort, will not receive any special treatment.
Virgillio Murillo, CEO of the non-profit Kolbe Foundation which runs the prison, told the Daily Mail: “Thus far she stands accused and will be dealt with just like any other untried prisoner.
“And I will leave it at that.”
Mum-of-two Hartin claims she shot the officer by accident, when the pistol went off as she was giving him a shoulder massage.
She was taken from the magistrate’s complex on the back of a golf cart to a boat, which landed in Belize City.
Hartin was then taken on a 30-minute drive in a police van to Central Prison on Wednesday, May 2.
