You can soon go northside to get a Double-Double and Animal Fries. In-N-Out Burger, the Irvine, California-based restaurant with a cult following, plans to open another metro area location in Thornton.
According to the City of Thornton’s economic development report for April, an In-N-Out location will be located near the Denver Premium Outlets on 136th Avenue near Interstate 25. The report says that the eatery will open sometime in 2021, although it does not pinpoint an exact month.
This news comes a week after Whataburger announced its return to Colorado with the Texas-based chain planning for a location in Colorado Springs.
Two In-N-Out locations opened in the Denver area in recent months. The Aurora In-N-Out opened in November 2020 with a 14-hour wait time on its first day, and Lone Tree welcomed its In-N-Out in February 2021. A Colorado Springs location also opened in November 2020.
The Denver Premium Outlets will also welcome a new restaurant at the shopping center. Satire Brewing Company will open a second location there, in addition to operating its Grant Circle spot. This one will include an outdoor beer garden.
