Evil sex beasts facing death by firing squad over gang-rape and killing of teen

Sick rapists who attacked and murdered a 14-year-old girl have been sentenced to death by firing squad.

Mohamed Abdi Faray and Abirahman Mohamed Isaq confessed to killing teenager Na’ima Abdi Mohamed after kidnapping her in Somalia, it has been reported.

Na'ima was snatched from the street where she was walking and bundled her into their car in the city of Bosaso, in the semi-autonomous Somali state of Puntland.

The Puntland Post reports her body was found on October 2 discarded in a city neighbourhood.

She was on her way to see her uncle when Faray and Isaq set upon her, according to The Puntland Human Rights Association (PHRA).

The two thugs took Na'ima to the suburbs where they raped, tortured and killed her.

The PHRA claim the 14-year-old was first strangled and then had her head crushed by the two men who now have 30 days to appeal against their execution by firing squad.

The Puntland Post published a picture allegedly showing the two men, with Faray scowling and Isaq sitting with his head in in one hand.

In a statement, the PHRA, said: "These violences are deliberate actions against women which are consistently and continually surging up in nowadays.

"PHRA denouncing such extremely cruel and inhuman actions and we are calling the Federal government of Somalia and all the Federal members’ states to work together to scrutinize the motives of such violence against Somali women and girls."

Na’ima's death is the most recent in a long history of brutal rape cases in Somalia, reports Somali Affairs.

Hamdi Mohamed Farah was reportedly gang-raped by eleven men in September before they pushed her off a six storey building in the country's capital, Mogadishu.

A male friend had led her to the building where the gang waited – sparking outrage and protests in Somalia.

Police have said eleven suspects have been arrested as part of their investigation into the horror assault.

Rape victims in the east African nation are stigmatised and forced to marry assailants.

Convictions under the law are rare, as police are either unaware of the law or do not see violence against women as a serious crime, say women’s rights campaigners.

Many rape survivors are reluctant to report abuses, fearing they will be shunned, the campaigners say.
