Denver weather: Snow and cold temperatures expected Monday

It’s going to be a chilly one in the Denver metro area.

Temperatures will reach a high of 36 on Monday with a 10% chance of snow in the morning that will increase to 60% after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. About half an inch of snow is possible. Winds are expected to blow between 9-13 mph but could gust as high as 20 mph.

The low will drop to 23 at night with snow possible before 11 p.m. Monday.

It will start warming up again on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and a high of 46. But it will be another cold night as the low is expected to drop to 24.

Wednesday will see sunny skies and a high of 47 before dropping to a low of 22.
