Tim Loughton insisted more needed to be done to repair the turbulent post-Brexit fishing relationship between the UK and France. While speaking during an Urgent Question in the Commons, he called on the Government to do more against boats that break the rules regarding fishing in UK waters. This comes as tensions have increased between UK fishermen and French fishermen.
Environment Secretary George Eustice said he would be more than happy to get the details from Mr Loughton’s constituents regarding their concerns on specific boats causing issues.
